keyhole dress

Dress

Dress (see more black dresses)

It’s not always easy to find a truly versatile dress. Girly spaghetti-strap sundresses are perfect for a day of shopping or a family picnic, but look totally out of place once the sun goes down. And it’s not like you can wear your favorite lacey LBD to class.
That’s where the keyhole dress comes in. Though lengths and styles may vary, keyhole dresses offer just the right amount of sex appeal that can look either subtle or sultry – the choice is up to you.
This week I’ll show you how to style a keyhole dress for both a day and a night out. Interested? Read on for the outfits!

Give your dress a rugged, carefree vibe by pairing it with a denim jacket. A beat-up, studded
jacket like the one I chose would create trendy contrast, but a crisp, dark-wash piece would give the look an equally gorgeous preppy and polished vibe. Add a pop of color with a coral cross-body bag and get a little lift with a pair of nude ballet flats with a subtle block heel. Then, add a matching belt for extra polish. Get some bling with a pair of crystal studded ball earrings, and complete the look with an edgy skull bracelet.
A bold pop of color gives this classic dress a completely different vibe – this bright fuchsia cross-body bag is the perfect piece to create a fearless, on-trend look. Nude pumps keep the focus on the dress while adding a fresh, feminine vibe. Accessorize with bold, sparkly jewelry, like a detailed silver cuff and geometric crystal earrings. Complete the look with a touch of glamour by painting your nails a glimmering rose gold.

SUGARLIPS x AZTEC + MULLET

This product has been with me for a while, and I have meant to blog about it but I couldn't find time. The product sent to me by Sugarlips is a mixture of Aztec and Mullet, I have been a fan of these trends ever since.

this look is perfect for those who like to stand out from the crowd. Not necessarily attention-seekers but attention-grabbers! A mix and match of different elements is key. Aztec prints and  mullet skirts make a good combination of shy and loud vibes. Since the mullet skirt is in plain black, pairing it with printed items such as colorful aztec top, it makes it less than ordinary. Plus, the necklace brings a fun and youthful vibe given it’s candy-like color! Wear light makeup, peach or nude lips, fish-tail braid or high ponytail with full bangs!

Well, that’s it for today! I’m actually enjoying mullet skirts and tops, too. They are so fashionable and they come in so many designs. I have been collecting mullets lately! They are really expanding in other designs to like Ombre’ and bird prints! So, don’t miss out and get your own mullet item at Sugarlips, too!

RECOVERING x LACE x VELVET

When I thought of this ultimate saccharine outfit, a poem popped out of my mind...

Sugar and spice
and everything nice
that's what little girls are made of

Sunshine and rainbows
and ribbons for hair bows
that's what little girls are made of

Tea parties, laces
and baby doll faces
that's what little girls are made of

Dreamy pastels are something I've been wanting to incorporate into my closet more and they suit the laid back and relaxed spirit of my outfit rather well in my opinion! I wanted to put together a look that was inspired by the springs. I got the Top and Shorts from Forever21.

P.S.

I decided to remove all the photos in my Google plus due to personal reasons, and little did i know that deleting my back up photos would tantamount to no blog pictures, every pictures in this blog is now gone. I am in total agony because I can't find a way to retrieve it. I am thinking of whether I should  get a new domain and start all over again or just continue using this blog. any thoughts?

I hope everyone is having a pleasant start to their week too :) Thanks as always for taking the time to read my posts and to leave your kind comments!
